Saturday Morning Scene Vegas Style!

Greetings from Vegas!

I'm sitting along a NY city street scene enjoying my Starbucks.

Life is grand!

Our first full day here was wondeful.  We walked along the strip, checked out some of the other hotels, they're all amazing!  The Cosmopolitan so far ranks our favorite, by far the most swanky, the entire place was literally dripping with crystals.  Gorgeous!  We ate.  We drank.  I bought an adorable hat and some great new aviator sunnies.  Just call me Ms. Fashionable!  We checked out Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and The Lion's Den at MGM Grand.  I won six bucks on the penny slots!  We saw Cirque de Soleil Zumanity which was uh-mazing!  My husband said any show where there's that many topless women is a-ok in his book. And I've already learned a thing or 2 about Sin City:

You can never be wearing enough glitter.....same goes for cologne

Your top can never be cut too low, your skirt never too high.....no matter the age or size

Paying 16.50 for 2 beers is good deal because later you will pay almost $40 for 2 of those frozen drinks

The casino's really ARE like mazes meant to keep you in!

Vegas by day vs Vegas at night......two totally different places

This morning we're going to the pool and then it's off to Paris and The Venetian for a little taste of Italy!

Saturday Morning Scene

We spent our Saturday Morning at one of my favorite places...

the grocery store!

Of course my favorite helper tagged along.

Boy loves riding in the cart!

And yes our shopping carts have cup holders.

I mean, where else is mommy supposed to put her starbucks!

I needed to pick up a few things to make dessert for a cookout with my favorite bloggers and their husbands.  I'll give you one hint as to what I'm making...it needs lots of these!

We're off to Babies R Us later today to pick up some baby gates because it's official, as of yesterday we have a crawler!!

This morning was spent ironing one tiny pair of palm tree pants for Jamie's 9 mos pictures!

Hopefully they go ok, cause we've been a bit cranky today

(and yes he's wearing Easter pj's)

Just another Saturday morning with the EyeCanSee's

Little J decided to get up at 6:30 this morning.....joy.

I took advantage of all his early energy and went to the park!

I love that we're withing in short walking distance of a park, a HUGE outdoor pool with FOUR waterslides, diving pool, fountains, sand playground plus tennis courts, a skateboard park, basketball hoop the list goes on and on.  I can pretty much guess where Jamie will be spending his days as he gets older and I love he only has to cross on neighborhood street to get there!

Perfect weather to finally get the diapers outside after a loooong winter of drying indoors!

Nothing cuter than looking out the window to see a sea of color blowing in the wind!

CLEANING!!

Usually I wouldn't want to post pics of my horribly cluttered house, but this is what I'm currently tackling and we're all about putting it all on the table around here.  (literally, can you even see my table?!?)

Yikes!  This is what happened when mommy works full time, often late, and is gone two weekends in a row!  Hopefully I'll be able to find my couch by Monday!
