Apparently my husband is.
I'm sure by now you've all heard of that new movie out there.
Paranormal Activity.
It's like a modern day Blair Witch.
The "scariest" movie ever made.
Only a 15K budget.
Blah, blah, blah.
SO basically I have to see it.
I finally convince the hubs he will be seeing it with me.
Cause let's be honest, I have no other options these day.
(Love ya hun, but it's true! We're friendless here in the KC)
Hubs says he'll do it.
After much persuading.
But only during broad daylight.
Seriously??
Yes. He's dead serious.
The man had to sleep with the lights on after seeing the Grudge.
I die.

Bwah ha ha ha! I'm the same way with scary movies. They're far too realistic these days.
Hahaha I can't handle them either!
HA! That's too funny! Thankfully J is not a scary movie fan so he doesn't drag me to those sorts of things because, yes, I am also afraid of the dark! Haha!
The Grudge terrified me. I'm with your hubs on this one!
oh hell no! i refuse to watch movies like that. like what's the point? who wants to have a horrible sleep at night??? NOT I! thank you very much...
plus i know the ending and it's lame.
hahhahaha! i just came across your blog and had to post a comment. my husband absolutely HATED the grudge! the whole time we watched it, he just kept saying "i need to go...this is stupid...i hate this...im about to leave." of course he was trying to act all macho that he just didnt like it, but he was scared to death hahaha! i feel your pain!
My husband doesn't like scary movies either but I'm a nut when it comes to them. The Grudge and The Ring are staples when I'm home alone. Have you seen "Stir of Echoes"? It's an older one with Kevin Bacon but I really love it. I want to go see Paranormal Activity before it's out of the theatre but its hard to find anyone to go with. If your hubby backs out and you don't want to go alone we should totally have a KC area scary movie get together. LOL!! XOXO
Oh that's not funny, I feel his pain, I am scared of the dark too!! I'm a chicken shit.
That is sooo funny! Soo glad someone else is too! I love love love scarrrry movies but after I watch them I too sleep with the lights on for days!! But I keep watching so I must like it, right?!?!?
OMG that is too funny. i really want to see that movie too. i heard its super scary and i love that stuff! let me know how it is.
bahaha! That's awesome!! Are you afraid of the dark..haha..still laughing about your husband. That's cute, though. :) You'll have to blog about how it is b/c I kinda want to see it but if it's terrifying I dunno.. I'm great with fear, but not with gore. If it's gory, I'll stay home.
too funny!
i don't do scary movies.
my little sis loves scary movies and she saw paranormal activity and said she was so scared she almost cried and she slept with the lights and tv on that night.
i would never see it! ;)
I want to see this, but I also want to be able to sleep at night. I may have to go during the day, too, to give myself time to forget about it before bed!
THIS TOTALLY SOUNDS LIKE ME!!! My hubby tried to convince me the other night, and I refused!!!!! I die in movies like Scream and What Lies Beneath.
That is so funny that he is like that! I really want to see Paranormal Activity and so does Geof. We're both huge horror movie fans. I hope that I like it!
that is too funny! My husband won't even watch scary movies with me, we can't even debate it! lol
I always have to watch a super non-scary movie after a really scary one, like the care bears movie! I feel your husband's pain!
I should fly out to see it with you cause I want to see it and we all know how my hubs feels about scary movies. What a little girl
What movie? I'm such a loser.
Ha! I can relate though. I am not big on scary/horror movies either but I am trying to learn to like them a little more! I do always want to rent a bunch and watch them around Halloween! At least, I can get over my "fear" of horror movies one time out of the year!
HAHAHAHAHA...AWWWW!!! poor guy!! seriously though i heard this movie was SCARY!!!! the one i am looking forward to is the new elm st.!!! freddy was my BIGGEST fear when i was a wee one back in the early eighties and still to this day i have yet to see one of his flicks...i am thinking tis the month to rent the first couple and have a marathon!!! in broad daylight of course!
I am so not a scary movie person. Hubs LOVES them! I'm just happy that he no longer wants to see those lame Saw movies anymore!
I can't watch scary movies at all!!! They're just too much for me.
Ohhh I heard it was kinda lame, so don't worry! BUT I could have heard wrong...you never know.
I've tagged you in an award! :)
That's so funny!!!! I'm not scared of the dark or movies for the most part.
be glad he at least went with you. no amount of convincing from anyone would get me in front of a movie or tv screen to watch that movie. never.
