Modified cooking

So you may or may not have noticed that Tasty Tuesday has disappeared yet again. Well I'm sure you all could guess that during the last few weeks the last thing on my mind has been cooking. I've eaten more cereal for dinner since I've been pregnant than I did back in my college days. My poor hubby hasn't said one word, God love him. (It helps that I stock the freezer with pizza rolls for my not so good nights) On the rare occasion I actually feel like making my way into the kitchen it has to be something easy with minimal ingredients. Here's a few of our new found faves for anyone looking for a quick, no fuss dinner!

Bean burritos. Aka. The lazy mans dinner. Seriously. Heat up beans. Put in tortilla. Add sour cream, salsa, cheese, etc. Eat. And the Taco Bell ones are the best canned ones I've found. Delish!

I discovered these frozen turkey meatballs one day...they're to die for. And as far as jar sauces go....Emeril is the man. BAM! You can heat up the sauce and meatballs while the water for the pasta is boiling. Easiest meal ever and it's a surefire husband pleaser.

Ok. So frozen pizza is a bit of a stretch in terms of actual cooking, but Freschetta is the shiz and I had to throw it in the mix!

I used to turn my nose up at these boxed dinners....but the Chicken Fried rice is REALLY good! Add your own chicken and scrambled egg and voila...dinner!

So there you have it. Cooking for the kitchen impaired....or for the so extremely nauseous the thought of cooking makes you wanna vom. Bon Appetite!

a quick dinner special at our house is Campbell's Tomato Soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. It is so yummy and very easy to cook/clean up.

Sometimes its just not easy to hit the kitchen and make a big dinner!

Feschetta is my fave frozen pizza, so yum! My fave quick dinner meal is black beans (drained and rinsed) with fat free cheese melted over them. Delish and low cal!

I loooove bean and cheese burritos. I always make it when my hubs is away (he is the chef). I also live on quesidias. I'm going to have to try the meatballs.

I love this kind of easy cooking!! It makes my day actually!

Don't get me wrong I love to cook, just not every day! I'll have to look at the Chicken fried rice, I'm skeptical but I trust in your recommendations! :)

Oh, I love frozen turkey meatballs with sauce and pasta! We also do broccoli alfredo pasta quite a bit too!

I haven't tried the bean tortillas, but tacos are my version of the Mexican quick meal. Or taco ring, made with crescent rolls.

We use hamburger helper (with ground turkey), but I'm going to have to try the chicken helper! Good suggestion!

I've been eating lots of frozen food lately- being busy and plus, it's warm! By the time I get home it's been a long day, so I try to make a few meals at once :)
