So technology is a good thing right?

So over the weekend I finally bought a new cell phone. I've now officially joined the android nation. (whatever that even means) My old phone was in great disrepair, complete with peeling keys. For the first time though, I was actually sad to be giving up a phone. Usually I'm giddy with excitement, but me and the ole Palm Centro had a great life. RIP.

I've also come to the conclusion that the first few weeks I have a new phone, it's a love hate relationship. They make them so hard to figure out these days. No more can you just turn it on and go. I actually had to bust out and read the manual. And that was just to figure out how to answer a call. Still trying to figure out the Internet on this thing and what's the deal with all the apps?? Do I really need something that simulates farts or tells me at what point in the movie is a good time to take a potty break?? Apparently I was happy living in a world with outdated technology!

Getting a new phone is a love/hate thing for me too. I love having the shiny new toy, but hate having to figure out all of the new bells and whistles. I have a Curve now and will be due for a new phone in the summer. I may just keep it!

Girl I didn't even get a manual with my phone. It was a learning process all in itself and I still get confused. LOL!!! XOXO

I totally agree! When I first got my blackberry curve I couldn't figure out how to use it and I even KEPT calling the wrong number - multiple times!! Oops!

The transition with the iPhone was MUCH better! LOL! But I think it's this way will all phone!

Good luck! xoxo

Please tell me that potty break thing is just a joke... are you serious? One of the guys here at work has the fart application. SOOO annoying.

I got an iphone in August and still don't know what I'm doing half the time. I never read the manual because it's like reading War and Peace. I will need a dictionary or translator.

Totally unrelated but I just want to say how much I adore your wedding photos. I am a wedding coordinator in town and have been wondering who your photog was! A NYE wedding sounds like an amazing idea!

Love your new phone! I know what you mean with a new phone relationship. I HATE having to figure out all the new keys and fun stuff the phone can do! By the time I get it and fall in love with the phone, its time for some new one! Glad you like it and I am sure you will get it figured out soon!

Love/Hate is so true but life will be so much easier with a new phone! :)

I'm the same way, and I'm in the market for an upgraded phone very soon. I'm leaning toward the iPhone, but let me know how you like Android. I might be persuaded another way. :)

The movie app actually sounds pretty cool. I hate sitting in a movie, having to pee, and trying to figure out when the best time to sneak out is!
