So Saturday afternoon we got a surprise ultrasound!
My sister in law is a labor and delivery nurse and was able to hook us up since they were having a slow day.
Since my OB office only does one at 20 weeks, I was super excited to see Jamie one last time before the BIG day. It's amazing how much he'd grown in just 16 weeks, you can't even see him on the screen all at once anymore!
We got to see his little nose and lips moving
His little legs and arms
He's already found his toes and kept putting them in his mouth....haha.
If only we were all still that flexible!
She said he has hair (how they know that is beyond me)
And of course we got re-confirmation that he is indeed still a he.
A "he" who apparently has an obsession with his junk.
Don't they all.....
I don't think his hands ever left his nether regions.
The tech actually laughed at one point and said,
"Oh look, his hands are on his scrotum....and now his penis, well I guess there isn't much else to do in there!"
Haha. The hubs found this hilarious.
Apparently the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree!
We also made some BIG progress on the nursery!
I'm not quite ready yet for the BIG reveal,
still waiting on the drapes and "Jamie" letters.
My seamstress aka mom was sick last week and had to put her project on hold!
Hopefully we'll be ready to go soon!
We did however finally decide on something over the crib, it turned out pretty cute!
It says "shhh...baby dreaming"
Here's a sneak peak!

haha...scrotum. LOL.
the baby's room is fabulous! did you guys paint the stripes on the wall yourselves? if so that's very impressive. i have like zero patience for that but i love the look.
So the fascination begins even before birth?! haha!
So glad to hear he is doing to well! The nursery looks adorable! I love the paint on the wall in stripes and the words! Super cute!
Haha, I guess she's right, there really isn't much for them to do in there :) I love the stripes on the wall, that is not easy to do!
How wonderful to get a peek at your baby at this point! A true gift really! Oh, and your nursery looks like something out of a magazine. Picture perfect.
this post stinkin cracks me up!! i'm gonna have to tell the mr about that! and i love the stripes in your nursery! so classy and cute! one day i'm doing stripes in my nursery too!! :)
OMG, the stripes...Loooooove! And I remember how fab it was getting to see the dude on screen. Sigh.
Wait until he brings his "fascination" outside the womb. My son is almost 4 and I'm not sure he ever takes his hand off of it. He always looks like he has to pee. It's soooo embarassing, but the more attention you draw to it, the more he does it. There's really no winning that battle.
love the stripes! If it wasn't such a pain I'd probably re-tape my bedroom and do alternating colors instead of just the glaze.... Such a precious room!
Oh my! Boys start at a young age!! Love the stripes, can't wait to see more!
Oh, that looks so cute already! So excited to see the big reveal!
What a nice surprise that you got to see the little one again! Too funny about him grabbing his "stuff". Love the nursery, such calming colors.
