Tie One-Z from WeChooseJoy & Age Blocks from bbBlocks
Hello everybody!
Like the title??
Mom let me type it myself!  :)
I was nine months old yesterday.  NINE!
I know I say it every month, but wow time flies!
I went to the doctor to get some official stats....
18.6 pounds and 30 1/2 inches long!
I'm one long and lean guy!
I'm currently in a mix of 6-9, 6-12 and 9-12 mos clothes.  Mama says she loves this whole size changing phase because it means I can wear so many different things!  I even have a few random 6 mos clothes that will fit thanks to my lack of waist and bum.  In fact mom couldn't believe it when going through all my summer stuff she came across some swim trunks that my Great Aunt Pat gave me.  Last summer they were still way too big and I didn't get to wear them and mom was sure they wouldn't work now since they were a size Small.  Well on a whim she tried them on and sure enough, fit like a glove with room to grow!  Mom just does not know how she and dad managed to make such a skinny baby!

I started holding my own bottle this month.  Can you tell I surprised mom?!?  Hehe.  The bottle was sitting on the chair and she wasn't doing anything about it...so I sat right up, grabbed it and fed myself.  I was such a pro you'd think I'd been doing it for years.
Now if only I could figure out that darn sippy cup.  Mom gives it to me everyday, and while I'm sure there's something good in there I'd much rather chew on it and/or throw it on the floor.  It's kinda funny actually....every time I throw it, mom gives it back...so I throw it again.  I've got her so trained.  :)
I'm eating 2-3 jars of puree and 4, 6oz bottles everyday now.  I've even tried a few things from mom and dads plate.  We haven't found a food I don't like!  Mom's pretty relieved about that....she was sure I was going to be a picky eater, but I surprised her once again!
I'm still not crawling or pulling myself up.  I did it once in my crib, but haven't again.  I try SOOO hard on just about anything that will stand still but can't quite get there.  Mom's not too worried yet, I seem to do everything on my own time and she knows I'll figure it out eventually.  Plus she's still enjoying a baby gate free home!  I do love to stand though!  My jumper and exersaucer are collecting dust these days and my stand up music toy reigns supreme!  It even has a real working microphone and I've figured out if I blow raspberries it echos REALLY loud.

I finally graduated to the big boy tub.  After 8 months in the kitchen sink, mom had been soaked one time too many with my splashing and said it was time.

I also discovered this horrible green stuff you all call grass.  Not sure what all the fuss is about.....cause I can't stand it!!  Grandpa says I got that from him....apparently he was a grass hater too!

Guess that's about it for this month.  Mom put me in pink.  Can you tell I was thrilled?  She said real men wear pink....I'm still not so sure about that!
Until next month!  (Eek, I'll be in double digits!!)
Peace out!

Brigham hates grass too. The two of them should get together to play on carpet only =)
