This time last year I had just returned from my honeymoon cruise a bronzed goddess and then was lucky enough to spend Memorial Day weekend in the sunny islands of Hawaii. My transition into summer clothes was not a problem. I was more than happy to show off my fabulous tan. This year my legs have not seen the light of day in months and it is down right scary. Since a few sessions in the tanning bed were out, my mission to find a decent sunless tanning lotion began.
I scoured the shelves at CVS trying to find one that wouldn't make me look like an oompa-loompa and decided to try Jergen's Natural Glow Express Formula. Three shades darker in only three days? Sounded like a winner to me. They were out of the fair/medium variety so I went with the medium/tan praying this wouldn't turn into a disaster. I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up the next morning to see a pretty big difference. My biggest mistake was not using any on my hands or feet which resulted in a very obvious white line at my wrists and ankles. Oops. I was able to correct it pretty easily and am now sporting a pretty even sunkissed glow. (It still looks a little funky around my feet, but I think it's because I got a shade darker than I should have.) Plus I didn't think it smelled like a stinky self tanner at all and it left my skin super soft. Bonus! All in all I give it a B+. I think I may try the non-express formula now that I have a pretty good start.

What a difference! I'm in need of this myself big time!
I've used that stuff before and it works good...it looks better on you though. They also have a face self tanner with the same brand, that works good too.
Girl I must pick this up this weekend. I can't tan because of my meds (I'll end up kool-aide red) and it's a scary site. Thank you tons for the recommendations!!! XOXO
I use the Jergen's daily lotion with tanner in it. Not the express kind though. It works okay, better than nothing :) I'm not a fan of the smell but I put it on at night before bed so I don't have to smell it all day long.
What a difference! I need to get some of that!
WOW! A sunless tanner that actually works. I will have to recommend that to some of my friends.
I love that stuff! I use it all the time :)
Ooh wow! I think I want to try the express formula! I didnt like the regular b/c I didnt like putting it on every day. (I'm lazy). I have since tried Loreal Sublime Bronze and liked it decently well, but you have to apply it VERY carefully. My roomie uses Hawaiian Tropic something or other and I used it on my legs.. really like that one. :)
Yeah, I'm definitely going to need to pick this up. I'm pasty and gross.
i think it looks like it worked great and i love that it doesn't smell! i'm going to get some!
hope you had a great easter hun! :)
oh wow!! i am so impressed with this!!! and it doesn't stink?!?! did it leave any residue behind on your sheets/clothes?!? man i think i need to make a target run after work!!
Honestly, that is the best one i have tried. I feel like sooo many of the other ones STINK and get streaky. That truly is the best ive found! You look great!
that looks really good! the only sunless tanner i've ever used was Dove and it was a complete disaster!
I can see the difference and it looks good!
That sunless tanner is always so scary! I have never really loved any of them, but yours looks good! You can def. tell.

I had the same perfect timing to Hawaii in the spring of last year! This year, I went with the Target version of Jergen's Touch of Sun. I bought the fair version (which could've been my first mistake). It really hasn't made that much of a difference - I only notice it on my legs, but no one else seems to notice at all. And the smell is that of stinky self tanners. I put the slightest drop of a B&BW lotion with it, and it completely takes the smell away.
I love love love sunless tanners!! I'm jealous because my OB won't let me use them while I'm preg - but as soon as the baby is here I'll be back on the bandwagon!! ;)
my favorites are - Bliss "a tan for all seasons" and Loreal Sublime Bronze towelettes. But I'm def going to try this one out too - thanks for the review!! :)

I have always used the jergens brands. work the best for me. When it comes to the feet and hands, the feet can always look a little funny. I always wash my hands and sometimes a little bit around my feet after, it seems to help it look a little less awkward.
It seems to work really well for you!!
