My dogs are a barkin'

And I don't mean the canine variety.

Three solid days of packing, moving and unpacking really takes a toll on a person...it nearly kills the pregnant ones.

Thank god for Two Men & a Truck plus the extra hands from my family. If it hadn't been for them I'd probably have given up long ago.
We are however, 99% moved in. All that's left at the old place is one small car load which we will get on Tuesday so the hubs can watch Glee. Priorities people. No cable or Internet at the new house until next Saturday. Not sure if that motivation to get settled or pure torture!

It's been quite the treasure hunt unpacking! Between the things we haven't seen from storage in 6 months, the wedding gifts we've never used, the childhood things my parents finally made me take back and the few things of my husbands I've never even seen...we decided we have a lot of shit really great stuff. How we ever lived in 800 sq ft is a mystery because I feel like this place is already full! We are definitely loving the new space, I'll be loving it even more when everything has it's place and I'm no longer tripping on boxes.

Here's to a busy week! I'll try my best to check in from work!

YAY Ems!!! Good for you. So glad that you are moved in and starting to enjoy your space!!!

Just wanted to say hi since I haven't commented for a while.
PS real excited for your little one. You are going to be a great mommy (and first one in the tri fecta!)

Oh good luck with the settling! My mom is itching for me to take all my childhood things from her house too, but we don't have room for it! LOL... over 2,000 square feet, and we don't have room! Sad.

Moving sucks and it’s at the top of my list of least favorite things to do. Kudos to you for doing it while being pregnant. That’s awesome that you had help though. I don’t know what we would have done without it when we moved.

Good luck getting unpacked and settled! It will feel so good once it’s done.

good luck with the rest of the move - we're right in the middle of ours and it's soooo tiring!

Don't you love parents for that? My hubby & I have a house that's about 1000 sq. ft. My parents have a 3 bedroom house all to themselves, yet, every other day or so, they bring over something else they've found that they want me to take. They say, "We don't have the closet space anymore." And we do!? I think it took my sister about 10 years to full move out - I don't understand why I can't take that much time! :-)

Congrats on the new place!

Oh man! At least unpacking in a new place is way more fun than packing up an old one! Good luck!

Good luck unpacking. I am trying to pack for our destination unknown and it sucks.

Glee is definitely a priority :o)

OMG i so know about the childhood stuff families force upon you when you move out on your own. Takes up so much room! I don't want that crap!!! Haha. Horrible.

Cracks me up that you are planning your moving schedule around Glee. I would be guilty of that too!

Can't wait to come crash at the new place! Congratulations! I knew it was sometime in April, but for some reason, I thought it was still March! My brain is gone. Only a couple more months 'til I get to see you and your bump in real life. Yay! By that time we will know the sex of our creature :). Got to see the little bugger yesterday, doing some Jersey Shore fist pumps for us - god, help us :)
