So What Wednesday

So What.....
  • If every morning I listen to the 80's station and rock out to Paula Abdul and Wilson Philips.  Ummm...they're like totally awesome.
  • If we're giving Jamie a highchair and a bathtub for Christmas.  He's 4 months old and won't know the difference.  I'm sure the rest of our family will shower him with toys....mom's being practical this year.
  • If I'm most looking forward to our Anniversary because my dad has offered to watch Jamie overnight and I can't WAIT to sleep.  Who cares about being *ahem* "romantic"....this woman needs some serious zzzzz's!
  • If I have a TON of work to get done by tomorrow, yet all I've done today is chat with coworkers and read blogs.
  • If I yelled a woman driving while on her cell phone....when I was also driving.....talking on my phone.  I wasn't being an idiot about it.
  • If ever since Jamie was born, I find myself caring a little less about our dogs. In fact more times than not they just annoy me.
  • If I'm craving chicken and dumplings and plan on making it for dinner despite the fact that my husband despises it.  When he learns to cook....he can pick the menu.
  • If I still haven't bought a single Christmas gift.  At least I have a general idea what I'm buying people...now I just need to get off my duff and actually go shopping.
  • If the idea of coming within 20 miles of the mall this weekend literally makes me cringe.  I know it's going to be a complete cluster*uck.
What are you saying so what to this week?  Join in here!

seems like the holiday spirit is lacking in a lot of people this year, me included. We are still having a hard time splurging on our 2yr old for xmas because seriously, he's only 2 and he doesn't care! Yum to chicken & dumplings! Oh and romance is totally out the door once kids are born! lol Hope the rest of the week is good to you...

I love this... it's totally okay that you are not in love with your dogs the same way - I think Jamie is still to little to give you any extra time to love! Good luck with the work and the Christmas shopping. I don't blame you for anything :)

I can totally relate to 90% of your "So Whats".
Last year for our anniversary, my husband and I stayed at a hotel and were both sound asleep before 9pm. It was amazing. This year we are keeping the boys on our anniversary (this Friday!) but ditching them for New Years to host a party...but I'm more looking forward to the sleep AFTER the party than the party itself!

I love your list! Especially the part about the Husband not choosing the menu until he learns to cook. Same problem at our house!

Love this! Wilson Philips rock! My sis has already let my nephew wear the outfits that were supposed to be part of his Christmas presents. But he is only 6 weeks old so it is not like he is going to remember!

This weekend was an absolute nightmare trying to get any shopping done and I blame myself. That’s what I get for waiting until the last minute!

I wish we had an 80’s station. Some of my favorite songs of all time are from that decade of awesomeness.

I get scared when the time comes to have a baby that I’ll neglect the dogs. They’re my little angels. I know it will be different, but the thought of it makes me sad. As I type this I have Chase and Mandy snuggled up to me…lol.
