Hitting a wall

I've gotten into a comfortable place lately.
Almost too comfortable.
Everyday I go through the motions.
Eat my points.  Stay on plan.
But my heart just hasn't been in it.
The scale has still been going down, albeit a little slower, but at least in the right direction.
Last week I hit 56 pounds lost.
Officially more than half way to my goal in 6 months!
Despite that, I feel like I don't see any big changes.
Those first few months the changes were so drastic it was easy to watch the pounds fall off.
Since this isn't my first rodeo, I know that when the scale isn't moving as much, your body can still be changing.
This weekend was definitely proof of that for me!
A lot of the clothes I bought in May are now about a size too big.
The shorts that I was a little uncomfortable in now sit so low on my hips they're practically an inch longer.
And the white capris that I was so excited to back into?  Now practically fall off me.
Then I went through that drawer of clothes all women have.
You know the one.  The "one day I will fit into these again" clothes.
Well I'm there.
My skinny wedding weight jeans?  Fit!
I needed that to remind me that all those pounds and half pounds add up over time.
I needed something to get that spark back.

Way to go!! I know what you mean about hitting a wall. Since March I have lost about 25 lbs and I am at a plateau and it is just so frustrating.

Congrats girl!!!! That is wonderful:) I totally hear ya on the clothes being the big indicator of whats going on...sometimes even losing the pounds you still feel like you're not getting anywhere!!

The plateaus are the worst. I've been in one for a while. Good job finding new motivation.

You look amazing. And the white shirt looks more loose on you too that you have on with those shorts.

I'm so glad you found the spark again. I was losing with WW so well a couple years ago. And while things were working, I got bored and tired. I got tired of having to count and be careful and I stopped. I gained back what I lost. I hated that I did it but like you I just got to the point that I wasn't feeling like it was doing much. Don't do what I did.

I gained minimal in my pregnancy but now that he's been born I'm back on WW. I should be 10 pounds down (pre pregnancy weight) by Friday. :) This time? I'm not making the same mistake. :)

amazing.

you're at the point now where taking up running and getting into exercising that you will like (find something) could make the key differences in those final touches of weight loss.

You look fabulous. :)

you look fantastic! I'm so glad you thought to take all of those pictures as the time went on that way when you have those "slow" times you can take a picture and at least see the changes! Congrats!
