Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine a 2 year old had the power to negotiate.
Or at least they think they do.
Not sure when my child woke up and thought he was the boss, but the things that come out of his mouth never cease to amaze me.
Take last week for example.
I told Jamie it was time for bed.
He turned to me and said, "Two more minutes mommy, I'm still playing"
I turned to my husband and couldn't help but laugh.
I've never been a mom who throws out two minute warnings, so I have no idea where he even came up with that.
Then there's dinner time.
After inhaling his tator tots he promptly requested "Mo tots peas"
I told him no, he had to eat his green beans first.
Meaning ALL of them.
So he says, "Ok mama, ONE bite"
He then proceeds to take the worlds SMALLEST bite of green bean before proclaiming
"I did it mama! Now, mo tots!"
Really kid? I wasn't born yesterday.....
Last night however, this one takes the cake.
After mowing the grass for the 234th time I told him it was time to park his mower and go inside.
He turned around, waved at me and said, "No mama, I stay here and mow grass. Bye-Bye. See ya later."
Right. As if I'm going to just leave you out here alone.
Seriously.
He's 2 going on 16.
If he's already negotiating now, we're in trouble come the teenage years.

Hahaha what a funny little boy!
But at least he's a polite little negotiator!
That's too funny! :) What Dave and Jenn said is right! At least he's polite and sweet about it!! Thanks for the smiles!
