1. Tell us your favorite baby names?
Girl names for us are easy! If Jamie had been a girl, his name would have been Brooke Elizabeth or Lucy Marie. Both of those are still in the running when it comes time for baby number 2! The new wild cards we've added to the bunch are Danica Claire {hubs choice, I'm still not sold on it} and Reese {my choice, middle name still undecided}
If we have another boy?? We're screwed. We had a hard enough time coming up with one Boy name the last go around! Every name I liked got vetoed, but he never gave me any {serious} choices in return. Unless you think Chuck, as in Norris is a real legit choice. I did not. A few of the ones I like are Nathan, Lucas & Harrison. These are the kind of responses I get from my husband when asked to come up with 2-3 boy names.
Now do you see why it better be a girl......
2. Show me your "dream" nursery
With Jamie we went gender neutral so we could use the same nursery for all our babies. In theory, it was a great {economical} idea. In reality? Am I really going to be able to have another baby and NOT decorate a new nursery?? Especially if it's a girl. Swoon. Every little girl needs a chandelier.
3. How many children would you like to have? How far apart?
High school Emily wanted 4 kids. Two boys, a girl and another boy all about 2 years apart. I laugh at high school Emily. Now I'm thinking 3 is a good number. Three-four years apart so we never have more than 2 in daycare at the same time. Then again, talk to me after I have two because some days, one seems like MORE than enough!
4. Tell us what you think the importance of parenting is?
Is there anything NOT important about being a parent?? For me it's learning not to sweat the small stuff. Be flexible! He didn't eat 3 servings of vegetables today and nap time was a little later than usual? So what. You know the old saying "When you make plans, God laughs?" Yeah well, so do babies. Once I learned to let go a little, everyone was much happier! I also think it's so important to do what works best for YOUR family. It's so easy to get caught up with what everyone else is doing that sometimes you forget to step back and realize what works for one does not work for all.
5. Show us your favorite newborn photo
6. Tell us some things you promise to never do as a parent {and if you are a parent, did you stick to it}
I've learned when it comes to parenting, never say never! Because when you're in the heat of the moment and that thing you said you'd NEVER do is the only thing to get your child to sleep/eat/stop crying....everything else pretty much goes out the window!

I love the name Reese for a girl or a boy! It is cool and tough.
So did I miss something with the whole babies on the brain? Is this on the table?
I love that we picked the same nursery. What did we do before Pinterest??
Brooke is one of Kristian's favorite girl names also. I like Brooklyn but that's starting to become really popular.
I picked the same dream nursery! haha....so peaceful!
