And then it happened

Baby fever.
I can't really deny it anymore.
With each passing day my blog reader is full of Birth Stories and Pregnancy Announcements sending a pang of jealousy through my empty uterus.
I find myself strolling through the baby aisles and oogling over all the sweet baby things.
Perusing the TTC and Pregnancy message boards again.
Seriously contemplating baby names. {Let's just say if we have another boy, we're screwed}
Dreaming of all the adorable newborn fluffy diapers I can buy.
Pinning cute weekly bump-date ideas on Pinterest.
Bookmarking Big Brother shirts for Jamie on Etsy.
It's bad people.
Bad.
With Jamie's 2nd Birthday passing I'm feeling more and more ready to take on the challenge of number 2.
Plus let's be honest, we're still crazy enough to think we want 3 kids and this mama ain't getting any younger.
So you could say my clock is ticking!
But the husband?  He's not quite on board yet.
And the mama?  Well she's still plugging along on her Project MILF journey.
And the logistics of two in daycare?  Yeah well, then there's that.
So I'm not throwing caution to the wind yet.....but let's just say it's on the horizon.
Maybe baby 2013 anyone??
In the meantime you'll find me on Pinterest swooning over nurseries and newborn photos.

Just my opinion, but 2013 is a GREAT year for a baby :)

I was pinning nurseries long before I got pregnant, so I completely understand!

My Hubs wasn't 100% sold on the idea until last spring and then it was game on.

We tried actively for over a year and decided to put it on the back burner this year and see where we are in 2013. I am ok with this but I still want to punch every pregnant woman I see and then cry about it lol.

I already have baby fever and hunter isn't even a year old! But then I smack myself out of it. Maybe on another 2-3 years.

I hear ya! Whenever I see cute pregnant women or newborns I get a little twinge of baby fever, but I am so not ready yet!

Our original plan was to wait until Landon was 3 to try. Now my husband wants to try next summer once Landon is 2. I'm actually OK with that and kind of excited, but I told him we need to move first. Our current house is too small for the 3 of us now, there's no way we could have another child here. I refuse to move while pregnant, so I won't even get my IUD removed until we're settled in a new, bigger house. My guess is that will not happen by next summer unless we sell this house really fast early next year :P

My blog list seems to be full of newborns and pregnancy announcements too. My husband and I said we would wait until our little one was a year old before we started for a second but I'm having a hard time waiting!!

2013 is a great year for baby #2. Just saying. :) We might be crazy for having another so soon but sometimes it's not totally up to you. :)) good luck.

I will be honest. I was in the boat of "getting comfortable with having just 1" but wanting 3. We had started talks about when we should start trying, but nothing was set in stone. As a teacher? Have a late spring/early summer is ideal for maternity leaves.

Surprise! No, really. SURPRISE! Baby #2. I am still in denial about it and starting to accept that in the end, it is such great timing for us and such a blessing. March 9th due date as a teacher couldn't have worked out any better if we actually tried for it to happen.

I guess since I am no longer blissfully unaware what another child will entail that may be what I am holding back on.

I don't know. However? I do know that that whole you will never be ready so just jump in does seem to work as well :)

I have a one year old and I've found myself with one foot in your boat lately. It's hard when you want another to balance out what you want to do and what you think you should do. Plus, Pinterest wasn't around when I had mine - can you imagine all the creative things I could do with another? C'mon now, that's almost excuse enough.

Get on that boat!! I had pregnancy fever the moment Carter was welcomed into the world! While we won't, I totally see how people have oh so many kids, I just loved being pregnant and having that teeny tiny newborn. 2013 sounds like a great year for another little one!!

hahaha love this post. Probably because I'm in the middle of all the baby fever at our house. :) I will be patiently waiting your announcement for #2 whenever that may be!
