Friday Confessional

The Juice is Worth the Squeeze
<div align="center"><a href="http://www.mrandmrseyecansee.blogspot.com" title="The Juice is Worth the Squeeze" target="_blank"><img src="http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg287/emsrdh03/confessionsbutton2.png" alt="The Juice is Worth the Squeeze" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
Some days I go to work super early because it’s quiet and no body is there.  Not because I want to get extra work done, but because I want to catch up on my blog reading and illegal internet surfing.

I don’t own leggings.  I feel like this makes me an outcast in the social media world.  Like I’m missing some vital part of the so called “momiform.”  Maybe I’m missing out, but honestly they give me bad 90s flashbacks to my jr high days when all I would wear were stirrup pants and oversized sweatshirts.  Those are fashion moments I don’t care to relive.  Ever.

The week Hostess went out of business and people were snatching up Twinkies left and right, I thought I’d be nostalgic and pick up a box of Oatmeal Cream Pies for one last hoorah.  Until I got home and was informed those are made by Little Debbie.  Who isn’t going bankrupt.  Snack Cake fail.

I get a little miffed when I see someone I haven’t seen for awhile and they don’t say one word about my weight loss.  HELLO!  I’ve lost 85 pounds.  Surely you’ve noticed.

I couldn’t tell you the last time we went to church.  This bothers me, but not enough to actually go.

I don’t like Will Farrell.  Or any of his movies.  Including Elf.

Last weekend I went to Target 3 days in a row.  A different one each time.  I think I need a 12 step program.

I didn’t know Elf on a Shelf had boy elves and girl elves.  On one of my many Target trips I just picked one up.  When I got home I discovered it was a girl.  This may bother some boy moms, but frankly I couldn’t care less.

Once I discovered my elf gender faux pas, I spent my next two Target trips trying to find her the Couture, limited edition, elf skirt.  If we were going to have a girl elf, dammit she was going to look like a girl.  My husband says I have problems.

This will be Jamie’s 3rd Christmas and we’ve never taken him to see Santa.  We may try this year since he’s old enough to actually sorta, kinda get it.  But if we don’t, it’s not going to be the end of my world.

The basement playroom looks like a tornado hit and has since last weekend.  I have no intention of cleaning it up anytime soon.  Outta sight.  Outta mind.

What do you need to get off your chest this week??
Link up and confess!

I think leggings have come a long way from the 80s-90s ones we were use to wearing as kids. LOL. I think the outfits are much more polished looking.

I am into leggings, I love them- my hubby says I look like a hooker in them....oh well.

I love target just as much as you...for some reason it just annoyes me when I am in line to check out and the employee offers the target debit card to a person and they say no and then use their Bank of America debit card- IDIOTS!! 5% off and FREE SHIPPING!!!

Finally, someone else who does not like Will Farrell! All of my friends think I am crazy but I just do not like any of his movies.

I'M NOT JOSIE GROSSIE ANYMORE!!!

For real, I cannot stand Will Ferrell and I HATE HATE HATE Elf. I'm talking want to scratch my eyeballs out....okay that was really dramatic, but the point was made.

And also, AMEN to the flipping people who say jack squat about weight loss.

I'm gonna have to do this Friday confessional at some point.

I don't own leggings either. However, when I am 36 weeks pregnant and still working? They may become part of my work uniform. We shall see.

I adore leggings these days. I am a late convert. I dream of a basement playroom where I can toss all the toys...One day. I ate Oatmeal Cream Pies a lot during my pregnancy. A Lot.

Will Ferrell is annoying to me, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Elf!!

And I definitely think you weren't the only one buying Little Debbies a while back. I saw several other posts on Facebook with people who got their snack cakes confused.

We can't take the boys to see Santa. They both freak out :/

I don't like Will Ferrel much either.

I love leggings and wore maternity leggings for Thanksgiving...I needed the extra stretch for all I ate.

I can't wait to take Hunter to see Santa, even though he'll probably freak out, which will not-so-secretly make me laugh. Baby freaking out Santa pictures crack me up. Yes I'm evil.

My son is 7 and we've never taken him to see Santa. Around age 4, I think I offered, he said he didn't want to. I confess, I wasn't really disappointed. :)

Well I own leggings... maternity leggings are way too comfortable to pass us and none of my workout shorts fit anymore so I have to have something to wear at the gym. :)

If I saw you I would be all about your weight loss!!! You look GOOD my friend. :)

My confession is I recently started knitting baby hats and I can't freaking stop... they are so fun and cute. My husband thinks I am insane. (Except he asked me last night to make our boy a yoda hat... haha)

I only wear leggings with a dress and boots. I'm actually wearing some as pants right now, in the privacy of my own home. I cannot pull them off as pants in public lol

I love Target. I could go there everyday if I had unlimited funds.

I used to go to work super early to make my photocopies and screw around on the internet before the kids came :)

We have a boy elf, but if we ever have a baby girl, she will get a girl elf with the fancy skirt because I'm ridiculous :)

Don't feel bad, I had no idea there was boy and girl ones either!

haha Nick (my husband) is NOT a fan of Will Ferrell either, so needless to say no Elf until he is in the other room!

Oh I love Elf :) And I also think it's cool you kept the girl elf because I see NO reason why this should matter on either side of the coin. The little debbie thing? HYSTERICAL.
