Last year we skipped a lot of the "ohmygod we have a kid now so lets do all these things our newborn won't care about" family activities. AKA the Cider Mill and Pumpkin Patch. Well this year I was DYING to go....you know, because our 14 month old will know the difference. So yesterday we packed up the car and road tripped to Louisburg, KS to visit their infamous Cider Mill. It was a gorgeous sunny day. Every time we have one of those now, I cherish it, knowing it could very well be our last for a looong while.
We ate some Cider Donuts....
and drank some Cider.
Attempted to take a picture by the "How Tall" sign. Easier said than done with a toddler.
Played in the hay
Picked a pumpkin
Played in the dirt....a lot. I was just excited he didn't try to eat any of it.
Took a hay ride, where Jamie's eyes never left the tractor. Or as he liked to call it "cah!" "cah!" Apparently everything with wheels is a car, we're working on that.
And pulled the goats ears fed the goats.
All in all it was a great day!! We brought home lots of goodies and have enough apple and pumpkin butter to last us a lifetime till next year!

OMG I love apple butter! Cute photos ;)
That is one of the few Pumpkin patch type places we haven't tried. Maybe next year. OMG - I love Jamie's shirt!!
Fun day!! The pictures are great!
And you are so right about cherishing every sunny day before winter! We headed to the pumpkin farm here too for the same reason.
Very cute. We keep saying we are going to go to the pumpkin patch but have not seem to make it there yet...maybe next weekend :)
That looks like a lot of fun- he is so stinking cute....glad you all went and had fun!! :)
So fun! That looks like an awesome pumpkin patch to visit. And cider donuts? Count me in :)
He's so cute! I love pumpking patches, I can't believe next Halloween I'm going to have a 10 month old to take to one. Craziness.
So fun! This is what we did yesterday too, love fall!
Oh my goodness! What a fun time!!! Jamie staring at the tractor is too precious! We haven't done the pumpkin patch thing yet this year but I'm thinking we might attempt it on Saturday afternoon. I did however buy a pumpkin on 10/1 that some animal has decided to eat. Now it's all gross. LOL!
So cute, he is getting so tall, 2 whole feet!! ;)
Jamie grew again. Make it STOP!!!
He is so stinking cute - I adore his hair.
And apple cider donuts? WHAAAT? I want ONE!!! (Or ten...) That sounds so good.
And ha, I know - all of the things "we have to do!!!" "now!!!" "because we have kids and this is what you do!!" LOL :)
Love your top!!! SO fall! :)
We did the pumpkin patch too. I was going to post pics tonight. Jamie looks great. Harper loved the tractor too. She calls it a tracah.
love it! those are my favorite kind of days :)
Oh this looks like so much fun!! I bet Jamie LOVED it! He is looking so much like a grown-up little boy!
Agh! So adorable! I love him petting the goats!
That looks like so much fun! Jamie is such a little boy now! So cute!
We took Landon this year because I wanted to go lol. My husband felt like you that an infant isn't going to know the difference, but it was fun anyway. I look forward to taking L next year when he's 16 months old!
That looks like so much fun and reminds me of one of my favorite places this time of year. We always make a point to go at least once.
The pic of Jaime with the pumpkin is too cute!
Awww, that looks like fun! I can't wait until Jade is old enough to do this fun stuff. :)
