It's Tuesday right?

A billion years ago I was tagged by not one, but two lovely ladies in a game of 20 questions.  Since I'm not even sure what day it is after a long weekend, there's no better day than today to finally get around to answering their burning questions.

First up is JAX from The Roaring Twenties (and thirties)
1. What is your profession?
Dental Hygienist
2. How would you describe your style?
One word?  Simple.  I don't really get into the latest fashion trends, more of a jeans and tshirt kinda girl.
3. What one make-up product can you not live without?
Lip stuff.  Chapstick.  Lip gloss.  I'm mildly obsessed.
4. If you could be besties with one celebrity, who would it be?
Jennifer Aniston.  I love her.
5. What is your dream vacation?
I have lots!  But if I can only pick one, a cruise through the Greek Islands is at the top of my to-go list!
6. What magazines do you subscribe to?
Cooking Light.  Real Simple.  Parent.  Family Circle.  How many do I actually read?  That would be zero.
7. If you could have a special talent {that you don't currently have}, what would it be?
I wish I could be one of those fancy horseback riders.  You know, with the kicky little riding outfit.  How's that for random.
8. What is your favorite breakfast food?
Eggs Benedict Florentine.  From Eggct.  Mmmmm.
9. If you could do anything, what is your dream job?
I want Samantha Brown's job.  Get paid to travel all over the world?  Yes please.
10. What is your guilty pleasure?
Cheesy Wedding shows, my favorite being Say Yes to the Dress!  Trying on wedding dresses was probably my favorite part of the the whole wedding planning experience.  I'd be lying if I said I've never had the urge to randomly stop into a Bridal Shop to play dress up.
11. What is the best piece of advice you've ever received, and who gave it to you?
Always be yourself.  My mom told me this all the time and it's so true.  If people can't learn to love you for who you really are, it's not worth having them in your life.

Next was Erin from Enamored and Elegant
1. What is your favorite Movie and why?
I have a few, but let's go with Mean Girls.  Why?  Because it's awesome.
2. Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Ginnifer Goodwin.  Not because we look anything alike, but because she seems very real.  You don't see her plastered all over the tabloids flashing her vajayjay for all the world to see.  She's just your average, down to earth, girl next door kinda person.  Who also happens to be a movie star.
3. What is your favorite book?
The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver.  I've only read it once, but I remember it being amazing.  One of these days I want to pick it up again.
4.  How old were you when you knew there wasn't a Santa Claus?
Oh geez.  Maybe 7 or 8?  I think I played along at least a year or 2 because my mom always said if I didn't believe, he wouldn't come.
5.  Pen or Pencil?
Pen.  Preferably blue.
6. What was your all time favorite class that you took in high school or college?
My last quarter in college I took a class that talked about music and art from the past to the present.  One of our assignments was to go to a concert.  Another was to go to an art exhibit.  We'd look at modern art and listen to music for an hour.  Outside of sitting in a lecture hall, it didn't even feel like a real class.  It was awesome.
7.  If your house was burning down and you could save one thing, what would it be? (All pets and family members know the fire safety plan and are safe.)
My wedding rings.  The diamond in my engagement ring came from my great grandfather's jewelry store and was what my dad proposed to my mom with.  So you could say they're pretty special.
8. What is one bad habit you want to change?
Eating when I'm bored or biting my nails.  It's a toss up.
9. Do you like brussel sprouts?
No.
10. If you were in Vegas for one day would you shop, visit the casinos or go see a live show?
If someone else was paying for it I'd say SHOP!  Otherwise a show for sure.  I love live performances.
11. If you could only have one job for the rest of your life (and paychecks didn't matter), what would you do and why?
I've talked about this one before, but I would open my own cloth diaper store.

Happy feels like Monday, but it's really Tuesday!

I love cheesy wedding shows too and sometimes want to go play dress up! I actually got to go to Kleinfeld a couple of months ago because one of my best friends is getting married next June and invited me to go watch her try on dresses! It was so cool to be there in person! She is not going to be on the show, but she did find a dress! :)

I have a friend who opened her own cloth diaper store, did really well, and then sold it. It can happen!!

That was an awesome class. I still pull random knowledge out of my butt that I learned in that class.
