Future Wildcat in the making!

It's no secret college football is a fall staple in our family,
so it should really come as no surprise that Jamie is wearing either Purple and White or Scarlet and Grey come Saturday.  This weekend was no exception as we loaded up the car and trekked to Manhattan, KS for Jamie's first official home game!
Ummm, doesn't everyone tailgate with sippy cups and football legs?  No?
Riding in style....mom said carrying me around all day made her feel like she was pregnant....with a toddler.  A toddler whose wildly kicking feet were right at crotch level.  Awesome.  Next time she'll be letting dad wear the carrier.
Mama, look at all those people on the field!
Football through the eyes of toddler.
Woo hoo!  We won!  We won!

I was a lot little nervous how it was going to go.  A two hour car ride each way.  All day with no where decent to eat, nap or play.  Blazing hot sun.  This spells disaster.  What are we thinking?!?  Jamie however proved us wrong and was a super star all day!  He even managed to squeeze in a nap during the 2nd Quarter amidst the screaming fans and GIANT canon that went off every time they scored.  He was truly mesmorized by it all.  The band.  The players.  The fans.  His eyes never left the field, even clapping along to the fight song!  I think we may have a future wildcat in the making!  And many, MANY more games in the years to come!

Feels good to be back!  Happy Monday Friends!

What a cute little dude! And I am impressed that you even braved a game. I wouldn't even dare think of it with S. But you have changed my tune. I might have to try!

Hello stranger! Long time, no blogging (on my end). I'm slowly making the rounds and just wanted to stop by and say "hello". I can't believe how big Jamie is getting and how adorable are his football legs?! I'm glad he was a little trooper for the game and that you guys had a nice day. I love the last pic of the fam :)
