Yesterday I ducked out of work early to make the 2 1/2 hour drive back to the lake for our last weekend of motel sitting. I had the windows down, the sunroof open and the sun was so warm I was actually sweating! My car's thermometer proudly displayed a toasty 65 degrees! Hello spring, I welcome you with open arms!!
We spent the evening walking outside, doing a little shopping, cruising the strip and enjoying dinner....on the patio! I was only slightly jealous I couldn't have a nice cold beer to compliment my perfect day.
This morning we woke up early....to head to the hotel motel, to this.
37 degrees......light snowSeriously!?! Why.....just why.

Seriously! I farking hate this state! I had already begun organizing my closets for spring and WHAM - we get hit with a friggin' snow storm again. I am currently looking into buying a timeshare ;)
We had gorgeous weather here yesterday too and I loved every minute of it. I’m glad you got out and it sounds like you and the Mr. had a good night. I hope that you don’t get snow at the motel!

I saw that snow going through your way. THere's nothing worse than 65 and beautiful one day followed by snowing the next.

I will agree though.. this calling for snow today was something I refused to think possible when Thursday and Friday were so amazing outside! sadly... the crazy Missouri weather proved me wrong once again...

i'm with you! i was in a tank top and skirt last night, and now it's raining and in the 40s here. it's supposed to be 30 degrees in the morning! ugh!!! bring on the sunshine and warmer spring weather!
Are you sure you don't like in Texas... It was in the 70s yesterday, 40s today. NOT a fan.
at least it's a light snow! We woke up to 6 inches of snow this morning and it's STILL coming down! Damn Kansas weather!

WTF was with our weather. It seriously dropped 20 degrees while I was at the gym on Friday and then 9 inches of snow on Saturday. Not cool Mother Nature. LOL!!! XOXO
